When the sun is shining, there are plenty of great swimming opportunities in the area. You can take a refreshing dip in Orsasjön or in our own little Åberga-tjärn – perfect for a peaceful nature swim with a picnic. And perhaps you'd like to try SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) to explore the water in a different way?
If you're looking for more water activities, Orsa's outdoor swimming pool is a great option, with a pool, a children's pool, and a grassy area for play and relaxation
For younger children (and playful adults!), a visit to Leksand Sommarland is a sure bet – with water slides, play zones, and plenty of fun in and out of the water.
Feel free to bring a lunch or something to grill – at most swimming spots, there are barbecue areas or picnic tables where you can sit down and fully enjoy the summer day. Please remember to always take your trash with you when eating in nature. Let's keep nature clean!
